hey, every time I start up my computer it makes a wierd annoying sound like a old fan starting up, I got my computer sprayed out with canned air and now after the windows loads up I get a message that says this: To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations. What can I do to fix this???

Many new graphics cards have a separate fan on them now, you may want to see if that fan is still working. If its not, it could cause that error because the graphics card is getting too hot. If its not working, see about getting it replaced.

If you have a newer video card with an extra power connector and a cheap power supply, it is probably not getting all of the juice it needs to run.

What video card do you have?

I would see if there is a newer driver for your video card.
Does your video/graphics card have it's own fan? If so, is it spinning?
