Republicans keep screaming that all gays should be exterminated, than it turns it turns out their leaders are face-in-the-pillow types. And they don't stop at all. I guess they are against gay marriage because they want their leaders to be able to play the field.

Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Ken Mehlman, Ralph Reed, at least two of Santorum's staffers, and whoever Jeff Gannon was sodomizing on his overnight visits to the White House.

What gays do among themselves is none of my business. Difference between me and Bush's followers is they constantly want all what they call "homosekshuls" murdered, but they rabidly defend Ted Haggard for using donated church funds to hire a male hooker for meth-fueled gay sex.

Stone K--I know Fox never really mentioned the Ted Haggard scandal--but the rest of the nation heard it, and the GOP knew about Mark Foley for ten years and did nothing. And I know you have no explanation for Jeff Gannon.

Well one thing I know is at least most republicans have the decency to resign when they hit a major sex scandal. They don't just scream and cry and whine that people are treating them un-fairly. Had he been a democrat People would be screaming about how he was un-fairly treated by the media.
Don't believe me? In the 1970's there was one democrat found to be having sex with a 17 year old boy, and another (Garry Sudds) in the 80's who was found propositioning a 16 year old boy. He also allegedly took a 17 year old overseas and had sex with him there. By the way Sudds remained in office despite the scandal and we re-elected a few times. Great political record for a guy who sleeps with boys don't you think?
Gee, sex in Washington... how novel an idea... gee i wonder if that was happening before like back in Clinton's day? Wait didn't Clinton play the field while married and in office? Guess Marriage is not really a big concern for Democrats after all.
Yeah What Folley did was inappropriate and he deserved to be removed from office (by the way the only guy he slept with was legal).
Personally I think it is sad anyone has to hide who and what they are. But I guess he was afraid of being mocked and criticized for being who he is... wait he is being mocked and criticized!
Wait did a life long republican say that? Oh my God! Wait could mean not all republicans are angry hate mongers? wow you Libby's must be freaking out right now. Could that mean the people actually spitting bile and anger are... *Gasp* Liberal!
Some party of compassion you guys belong too.
And name one republican in office screaming to wipe out Homosexuals?
Try looking at your own party for a while without the bias, I think you will find a lot of stains on that pretty blue you wear.

This is just like the anti-gay Christians that say homosexuality is an abomination, referring to a verse in Leviticus. Somehow they all forget that in the same passage, eating shellfish is an abomination. Yet, they don't criticize Red Lobster.
Further, female homosexuality is not condemned in the Bible once!
As someone that was raised in a Christian family and has read the Bible from beginning to end, I am disgusted at how people cherry pick verses to fit their own lives rather than allow their life to conform with the Bible. I truly believe that American evangelicals are the fake church spoken of in Revelations.

For all the respondents who don't think that there are plenty of gay-bashing Republicans, here you go:

I don't know that most Cons are advocating extermination of the gay population, but they certainly make an enormous issue of things like gay marriage (I guess Ted Haggard didn't believe in gay marriage because it was more fun to have a stable of rent boys).

Very inflammatory to make such a ludicrous claim about exterminating gays. You know as well as I that most gays will be of the liberal bend. Also, that the Dems have been in "bed" with them for years. And don't tell me you've never heard of gay Dems. Barney Frank ring a bell?
