The makeup most used during the golden era in Hollywood was Max Factor. He developed a lot of his foundations (Pan Stik, Pan Cake, Pan Chromatic) to make actresses glow and appear luminous on the screen, and I know that this was still being used up until the 50's. Perhaps this was the brand she used when she was still a movie star. And yes, I totally agree with you - she was one of the loveliest, wasn't she?

gosh, thats a good question. I looked around on google a little bit and couldn't find anything. Wally Westmore did a lot of her film makeup though
