between 360 and ps3...
well, ps3 will have better graphics and has better resolution (1080p). 360 has 1080i. ps3 has hdmi wire but 360 just has hd cables. i believe ps3 has a better cell processor. ps3 supports bluray while xbox supports dvd. the better ps3 has wifi and a better hard drive. the better ps3 has sd slots. but theyre very similar and with the ps3 u can go online as in internet (both have good online play). and ps3 has six axis motion technology. both have backward compatability by just puting in the disc, but i heard ps3 has problems with that. beacuse ps3 is new it also has other defects or glitches.
the wiis graphics arent as good. the graphics are compared to original xbox and gamecube (depending on the game). wii is up to 480p but u will need to buy a seperate cable if u want 480p instead of 480i. the wii supports dvd but DOES NOT have a dvd player. and unlike the ps3 and 360 it does not have a harddrive. (has some internal memory to save games). the wii has wifi and u will b able to surf the web and free channels of weather and news will b available soon. u can play gamecube games by inserting a disc. and u can download games from nes, snes, n64 and turbographx. only some games are out right now. the wii is all interactive. the motion sensor senses pointing, movement (with speed) and twisting. and the controller rumbles (has the rumble feature) and makes noises.
for games, ps3 is famous for resistance and will b 4 MGS4. 360 is known for gears of war (GREAT RATING) and HALO 3!! the wii will have mario games including the nrxt mario super galaxy or something and super smash bros brawl

This question isnt easily answered but some insight can be given to let you formulate your own opinions...
The PS3 while being almost undoubtedly the most powerful gaming machine on the market, it also suffers from many errors that new consoles typically have. It will be well worth its price in time though, it doubles as a blu-ray dvd player and an internet browser. It also offers free online gaming, which is appealing to many people considering xbox 360 charges for its online gaming and the wii doesnt have an online game service yet.
The XBOX 360 is truly at its peak as of late, it has been on sale for a year now, making it easy to come by. Another asset contributing to the 360's pro's is its games. the first "killer app." or highly touted game has just come out in the form of gears of war, and many highly anticipated games are on the way (see gamespot.com) the 360 is a very powerful machine all in all, at a good value compared to the ps3.
The Wii is a revolutionary console by Nintendo which keys in on a new gaming experience thru a different gameplay system. Instead of upgrading graphics and making games longer, it focuses on using its peculiar yet satisfyingly fun Wiimote, a wireless remote which detects movement instead of the normal joysticks or buttons. The Wii, in my opinion, is the ultimate party game system, the controls at times can work seamlessly for any novice or expert gamer, evening the playing field some. by far the best value at $250, it does lack a DVD player tho.

PS3 is the most powerful console compared to 360 and wii.
Has Blue Ray DVD player and can play in true HD.
But very expensive in price.
and have many glitches in the software and the bluetooth controller.
Xbox 360 is good. Less powerful than Ps3. as it support only to 1080i.
Gamewise, although it start to build a cool library of games, is still in my opinion sub-par to standard.
Wii is the weakest console in term of graphic. It doesn't change that much from gamecube.
But honestly the most FUN! as it revolutionized the way we see and play games. with the sensor and all! Definitely a cool thing to have.
My Personal choice if you have the dough buy:
Wii AND PS3.
If you don't, then i would buy Wii and wait till PS3 become cheap.

its large, i'd supply it a 9/10. the basically element which could of made it more beneficial are the pix. the alternative of video games is large... call of duty 5, Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, Wii in fantastic condition, ect. Eventhough the pix arnt next gen. they are nonetheless large. the gameplay is so relaxing with the wii action controls. that is a good kin equipment. i'd recomend it.

Well it all depends on what you like. If you like war/shooting games with pretty good graphics the Xbox 360. If you like a lot of features like music, videos, internet, a camera, tight graphics, and nice games PS3. But, if your me, and like a new controller, ok third-party games, internet (also free like the PS3), and kid games the Wii rocks.

The PS3 is the better out of these 3 consoles. Wait for its price to go down and for more games to come out and buy it.

xbox 360 it going to get HALO 3 and it has Gears of War which is a complete hit.

Everyone brings up good points.....really. But, what it really comes down to is .......How much are you willing to spend? ? ? ? ? ? ?
But My personal opinion is XBOX 360 cause I was one of the first to get mine and i'll tell you what...I haven't regreted it at all.
Nothin' but XBOX love here!
