i really want to get my ears pierced but my mom won't let me. my dad said sure but my mom said no. i can't get them pierced unless i have both my parents' permission. how can i convince my mom to let me?

try to find out why your dad think's it's okthen show those points to your mom OR ask your dad to convice your mom.

First of all it depends on your age. Just try telling mom that you really want them that you think it will make you feel more like a woman. Tell her you will only wear small dainty earrings and that you won't go overboard with any other piercings. Also tell her dad said it was o.k. and maybe have dad talk her into it.

Evidently she doesn't have pierced ears. Mine didn't either, and when I was 18 I pierced my own ears. When I was 50 my daughter took me to have my nose done. I wanted it done. Just wait until your a little older and ask again, or wait like I did. It isn't that big of a thing anyway.

I'm not sure how old you are, but are her ears pierced? If so, ask her how long she has had them pierced and at what age she will approve you to get your ears pierced.

it is not a big deal if you want them pierced and will take care of them...try to go with the side that it is an opportunity to show personal responsibility for health care...also it would be a fun bonding mother-daughter activity to go shopping for earrings.

i would sit her down and ask her very politely why you can't have it done, tell her you will take card of them so you don't have to worry about getting them infected. tell her that you will pay for it. but if she says no, accept it, you tried. but once you reach 18 you can have it done without anyones permission.
