It came in a gift box but that will be obvious as to what it is and I want to wrap it more unique, not just putting it in a gift bag, but I've used all of my wrapping ideas on other gifts, does anyone have any suggestions, something that will make him have no clue what it is?

Go find or buy a plain small box and wrap that. Or you could buy different sized boxes, and start with the smallest one to put the ring in. Then wrap that little box and put it in a bigger box and wrap that. Do it as many times as you want, it will be hilarious when he is opening the gift and keeps getting more wrapped boxes! If you want to make it more serious then you could buy him something like a pair of pants and stick the ring in the pocket. Or maybe something random like a potted plant and place the ring inside it. Just do something creative and from the heart and he will love it!

Put the ring inside a popcorn bag and give it to him for Christmas. He will think it's just a popcorn bag, but when he eats it all, he will find a shiny ring waitin' for him to find. It's not really romantic, but if you don't like this plan, look at my other plan. Plan #2 Put the ring inside a laundry basket and wrap the laundry basket. Plan #3 Buy him a car and place the ring in the driver's seat. When he sits on the seat, he will feel something hurtin' his butt and he will find a ring.

Put the gift box in a box of sweets.
It's only when opening the box that he'll get surprised with that ring

buy a gift box like u put cloths in and put it in that
also u can try this i did this 4 my boyfriend 1 time i got 1 of my sisters baby dolls diperbag and put his necklace in it it was also funny 2 watch him open it up wondering why i got him a something 4 a baby doll

try to wrap it in a creative style such as putting 4 or 5 boxes around the original box, each getting bigger. or you could just give it to him after all the presents are opened.

A ring, for a wedding, that isn't really silver? Maybe you just placed the question in the wrong place, but even WalMart sells sterling silver rings.

Wrap it up in a HUGE box and use newspaper to wrap it up with.... stuff the box with old papers and cloth and such and make him work at it, so when he finds it he will be overly excited.

Do a scavenger hunt throughout your house. Don't do too many stops, or it will get dumb and he'll get bored.
End up with the ring tied as an ornament on the tree (right back where he started).
