It all depends on my financial situation -- this year, it's not good so the only person getting presents is my daughter.
In better years, I've bought gifts for 15-20 different people, and I'd love to be able to do it this year, but I just can't afford it.
Maybe next year.

i buy presents for my immediate family, mom dad bros(long term girlfriends) and sis(long term boyfriends), nieces and nephews my kids and i made a rubber tree plant for my roommate(im if you wanna know what it is) and gift exchanges i don't spend alot of money on anyone except my kids cause well their my kids, even then i am not going to buy them stuff they don't need I don't want them spoiled if you don't want to spend alot of money then don't and don't feel obligated i send Christmas cards to the rest of the family yes i take the time to write each one a note I'm old school and i like doing it

Well, let's see. I teach 260 third graders and they are all getting a gift. I gave gifts to my 6 coworkers. I'm traveling to visit friends, and I'll be giving 5 more gifts... I've got a number of other friends to whom I'm giving something small... maybe 20.

I buy for 6 people. But I also buy for my 2 dogs, 2 cats, gerbil, and guinea pig.
