Coin worth mostly depends on condition unless it is gold. Look in your yellow pages for coin dealer and take it to them to see in person . There is no charge to give you information .

Have you tried your local library? They are a wealth of information. Or, try googleing it online. Most coins aren't worth that much, unless they are one of a kind, or extremely rare, like from early greece or rome. Good luck!! However, the 1943 aluminum pennies might be worth something due to the copper/brass shortage for the war.
