what can i use for fm reception,to go on a reciever to a dvr?

Are you trying to record FM radio on your DVR? This is not going to work. DVR's are designed to record only a TV broadcast.

If you want to record FM radio, then I suggest connecting a stereo system to your computer sound card. You can record it, convert it to mp3's, then load it up on your mp3 player.
