I want to buy a new Desttop for my home use, but there are so many, i want buy one that is not expensive but at least a fair computer. i don;t really care about graphic cards and stuff. which brand of computer is the best?

Alienware if money isn't an issue, but the only difference I've found between alienware and dell is that dell makes theirs cheaper by selling them preinstalled with a bunch of crapware, so your probly best off just buying a dell and spending 10 minutes in the add/remove programs thingy. I did that cuz I was 15 when I bought mine and so I was limited to the little bit I made in almost 2 years working. Got a pretty sweet computer, but now six months later it has of course become about one third the price. So annoying.

First off you need to realize that no one brand makes the best best PC. They all have their pros and cons. I'd recomend you look at this website called www.cnet.com then you'll make a sound decision. Good luck!!

My advice, buy anything but Celeron Chip!! That is very slow processor no matter how fast it says.! Amd, Athleon or Intel processor for Cpu. Depending on your budget. under 500, you can get a decent one nowadays

the best ones out there on the market are dells and sony vaio i wouldnt trade mind for the world it is great and warrenty is great to and yoyu get the same thing with dell like at the warrenty and what you are using the computer for

You could get a compaq or an e-machine. I'd stay away from Dell. . . .After Christmas, you could look for an HP. Their usually on sale after the holidays.

Go to Bestbuy and look around, or you can look at this site www.geeks.com and theres alot of different computers at low prices and there dependable ,I use deal with them all the time.
