i was just wondering if xbox live still worked with the original xbox and are there a lot of people on it?

My brother and i just got Xbox live about 3 weeks ago. we don't have an Xbox 360 either. There are a ton of people who play it. If you wanted to play with an Xbox 360 user then you could also play with them. It doesn't matter what console you have.

Yeah, this is the time where I start laughing at people for saying stuff like this. Not everyone has a 360 (like me. My parents are trying to "save money" and "don't have that kinda money". I doubt I'll even get a Wii for Christmas.) Now, most people still have an old Xbox. And yes, thousands of people play it (especially Halo 2.) As for your question, I don't see why people wouldn't still play it.

of course, i use it all the time and on christmas im getting a 360 but i cant still play regular xbox games so overall xbox live is xbox live and there are always thousands of people on it. but you might want to get a 360 in time.

It would have to...why wouldnt it? Some people didnt and wont buy the 360, so they have to use the old one.

yaah ofcourse it works and ofcourse there are a lot of people on it. everyone here is not a rich enough bastard to afford the 360
