Ask them what THEY wanted to be when they grew up. It will be interesting to see how many started out as teens wanting to be teachers. You will get to know them better and on a much more personal level when you learn the drama teacher wanted to be on Broadway, the history teacher really wanted to play pro baseball, etc....

These will be sure to spark an interest: When was the last time you were arrested? The first time? What were you arrested for? Have you ever stolen anything from an employer? Are you now on, or have you ever taken drugs? How did you conquer your drinking problem? How much do you spend on gambling each month? Are you now or have you ever cheated on your wife/husband? Have you ever been investigated for insurance fraud? What were the circumstances? A refreshing change of pace from the usual yearbook survey questions, n'est pas?

Um ok DrRocco that would be correct if they didn't take the 9 month salary and just spread it out over 12 months. Did you really think teachers get paid to do nothing for 3 months?
How about asking them what something is that's unique about them...that others might not know.
