Maybe she can still help you by e-mail and even through yahoo answers.

The very best way to learn is to share the learning process with someone. Most wise college students are in study groups. When I studied accounting, 4 of us got together often. If we all had the same answers, fine! But when of us had a different answer, trying to figure out why was a challenge and we learned more from doing that than by just doing it alone. I do not think you are lazy or stupid for wanting to do your homework with someone else. You said she helped, you didn't say she did your homework for you. Do you just need someone to check it or do you need someone to help explain it?

Try asking other people at your school if they would be interested in studying with you. You might have to find someone for each subject. And please keep in mind, teachers are usually very happy to help, especially if a student is really trying. What about your parents, or maybe an aunt or somebody like that ?

Ask her if she has another smart friend like herself who can help you. Otherwise, go to your guidance counselor and ask for a peer tutor. Or maybe try on your own! Maybe you could at least do some of the subjects by yourself. I bet you know more than you think!

That happened to my aunt's neighbors. There were two sisters and the older one always helped the younger one with homework. When the older sister went away to college, my aunt tutored the younger sister (my aunt used to be a teacher). The younger girl was lost without her sister to help her.

Has your friend moved away yet? If not ask her to teach you an easy way to figure things out, the strategies she uses. Youll feel much better after you learn how to do things yourself.

Study more, listen in class, read the assignments, get a new friend, keep in touch with your old friend, or all the above.

Use yahoo messenger and keep communication with her. Give her call sometimes. Also, you should start doing your own homeworks and reports. It's better if you do it your own.

I agree with dablaze, and why haven't you ever done your own homework, that's called cheating.
