if your using older then xp
say 98 or ME then it is same as above but
instead of cmd type
command

External: Yeah you please visit http://www.whatsismyip.com and check out the http://www.this-ip.com or visit http://www.ipchicken.com.

Internal: Go to Start > Run and type there CMD and a command Window will be appeared. Type there IPCONFIG and enter. Or the other way is Control Panel > Network Connections > and then select the current active internet connection and click the support tab and check out the IP Address

Go into Start, Run, and type in ipconfig /all
This will give your your MAC, IP address, router settings, host name, gateway, DNS server, and IP experation date.

are u talking about internal IP or external IP? for external IP goto IE and type in www.whatismyip.com and for internal go to start run CMD press enter and than type ipconfig
