If you're currently in high school then before going to law school you're going to have to go to college and get a bachelor's degree. There are lots of good schools in the NYC area, both public and private that will give you a solid training for law school.

For law school, you could consider:
NYU
Columbia
Fordham
Cardozo (at Yeshiva)

But before then, try one of these colleges:
a CUNY campus
NYU
Columbia

That's in order of difficulty of getting in. With borderline good greats I'd recommend one of the CUNY campuses. You can get a list of them by clicking on the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of this page:

Columbia and NYU are two of the best law schools in the country. Fordham is probably the third best law school in the city.

But you need to get a bachelor's degree first. They are also the best undergraduate schools in the city. There are other decent schools in the city. Fordham is one of the better ones.

St John's is not a very selective school. My advice is to avoid it.

i bypass to varsity in NYC, and there are not any frats at my college besides the indisputable fact that that's an paintings college so... yeah lol. i'm sorry to inform you, yet until eventually you recognize someone you extremely won't be able to get into bars or golf equipment with no fake identity, and a good fake at that. possibly in Brooklyn or Queens, yet not long island, IDk what your human beings are speaking about. maximum ppl stay in dorms before everything, and finally get houses in the experience that they could have the funds for it. human beings nonetheless have "residing house activities" even although i wager you need to call them residing house activities, i have been to three activities on ppls roofs which replaced into cool. the better section about NYC is that its next to not a chance to get a DUI b/c you may take subway, busses or cabs. All in all, i imagine it relies upon on what college you bypass to, yet there is continually some thing to do in NYC no matter when you're underage. good success, and that i'd recommend getting an excellent fake identity (like a good one b/c maximum golf equipment will experiment IDs now).

Goto NYU. It is the best law school out there, hands down. Totally amazing area. But you need to go to undergrad first. I've known many people who thought they wanted to be a lawyer and then while in undergrad they found out they had other interests. Don;t get ahead of yourself; the world has enough blood sucking lawyers anyway...

Columbia has to be among the best, if not the best.
