Are most of you posting here just a bunch of 10-13 yr. olds with nothing better to do and no real sense of politics in a broader, more mature way? Words like "liberal" and "conservative" are as worn out and meaningless as last year's hip-hop slang.

If all you can do is ask stupid questions and use weak labels, for God's sake, go do your homework, read a book, play a video game and leave the real discussions to people with larger brains.

There are politicians on BOTH sides of any issue that are worthy AND worthless. No one party has a monopoly on intelligent solutions, and if you think one does, you should just go drown yourself and thin the herd a bit.

entire liberal v. conservative, left v. good element is an antiquated holdover from the French revolution and says extremely not some thing about a political candidate's extremely perspectives. Dr. Jerry Pournelle got here up with a a lot more beneficial, quadratic description some years decrease back and that i trust that would nicely be sophisticated even extra. yet human beings choose issues oversimplified in order to fake to appreciate and the media would not have the time or the motivation to video reveal actual technological knowledge to political technological knowledge and practice the target audience. besides, the oversimplified view makes media commentators sound like they understand what they are speaking about.

Um, I've already seen a couple of users banned from this forum today...

This is not an actual political question, so don't be surprised if it gets deleted.

Hmmm... Another pretentious independent, perhaps? Just kidding.

Leave the kids to their fun and go read a book, yourself.

Actually, liberal and conservative are accurate descriptions.

I am a conservative and proud of it. I will gladly debate anyone on any issue any time. I know that I can win with logic.

I do agree that the name calling is bad. That is what happens when people cannot defend their positions.

Amen & Amen to that, we are Americans first and need to stick together. A little banter is OK but some are totally divisive.

Where were you during the last six years when the liberal Democrats were savaging George Bush and every Republican they laid eyes on? Didn't hear you asking for peace and intelligence then!! Why now?
