I just started working my new job and I don't have that much money and my girlfriend fails to realize that. She wants me to buy her a 400 dollar bracelet, which means I would have to borrow the money to get it. I want to make her happy, but that's too much to borrow. What should I do?

Never borrow money and get into debt over something as frivolous as a gift! Your girlfriend had better grow up and realise there are things more important than a bracelet.

She needs to realize times are hard. And a 400 dollar bracelet is something you can not afford. U tell her the bracelet or your health. I know u want to make her happy, but you need to get your prorities in check. Tell her leter, but just not right now. Or tell her to buy u something that cost 400 dollars, and she how she feels cause if u can't afford it don't get it. Love is not about materials or expensive *** bracelets.

Get her something nice that you can afford. That is really selfish of her and I wouldn't borrow money from anyone to buy her the bracelet.

It's impolite for someone to ask you buy them something. If you want to buy her a gift make sure it's something you can afford. If she wants the $400 bracelet she should pay for it herself.

I agree...she should understand that you don't have a lot of extra money right now...and shouldn't expect you to buy her such an expensive gift! Do something cute that you think will still make her happy -- something extra special to let her know that you care but just don't have the money right now.

First of all if all she wants is a bracelet that costs and arm and a leg she doesn,t love you she loves your wallet and from the sound of it, you would be better with out her and put that money in a savings. or spending it on yourself

I would get a cheaper bracelet that looks similar to the $400 one. she'll be happy that she got her bracelet u'll be that u didn't have to spend as much!GOOD LUCK HOMIE!

girls love nice things but u can get her something nice that don't coast that much 4 now if she cool with it and understanding about it and happy with what u could get her then when u do get the money up 4 what she really wanted u should get it 4 her but if she acts like that headache man don't get her s***
