the word narcicist comes from the greek myth of narcis (i don't think thats his name but it was something like that) wich was a guy who was in love with himself, so he kept looking himself in the reflection of the water of a pond ( i think it was a pond, but it was some source of water), anyway, he loved himself so much that he never drank water because he didn't want to disturb his reflection, so because of that he died of thirst. but anyway it means to be in love with oneself. look it up in wikipedia

It means to be vain, or self-centered. The word comes from the Greek God, Narscisus who was so vain that he stared at his own reflection, until he whithered away and became a flower, called the Narscisus.
