yes.....because Jiraya said so himself, TEAM 7 was just like his own team. back then Orochimaru may have even considered Jiraya as his friend or something. Notice how Tsunade and Sakura have similar characteristics and Naruto and Jiraya have almost the same characteristics and Sasuke and Orochimaru well both of them love power too much.

Maybe. But I think Orochimaru will never help Jiraiya since Orochimaru only thinks of his ambition.

Yes. Back then, Orochimaru wasn't evil, just weird and a little mentally defaced. He would still help his comrades.
