What do people in Mexico call Santa Claus? Is it Papa Noel, or is it something different? Thanks.

It's the same name Santa Claus, but most of kids receive their gifts from "Los Tres Reyes Magos" "Three Wise Man" on January 6Th.

I live in Mexico. Santa is called Santa. Santa Claus is not nearly as big a part of Christmas here as in the States. Merchants are just recently beginning to push the Santa idea. It is customary for Mexican people to give gifts on January 6, the day of the Kings, and not on Christmas. Christmas is celebrated as Christ's birthday, not as a secular holiday. Tho, as i said, secularism is creeping in.
