I've recently lost quite a bit of weight, and I've gotten to a weight I'm happy with, 125 pounds.
But..I sorta lost the weight...not in the best way.
I'd eat for example, a fruit cup for breakfast, a salad and yogurt for lunch, and a few bites of whatever was made for dinner.
Then I'd ride the stationary bike for 10-20 minutes, aerobics for 20 minutes and sometimes dance to a CD if I had time.
Well..my mom talked with me and she told me I have to eat better, which I know..and I'm going to do..but my question is..
If I eat differently than I currently am, but still the same amount of exercise, will I gain weight?
For example, 2 eggs for breakfast maybe a piece of toast, a salad with chicken or tuna for lunch, and whatever is made for dinner,..maybe some rice, beans, chicken, or some kind of meat.
I usually don't eat too much, I take smaller plates so it's easier.

Will the change cause me to gain weight?

Fatty foods cause you to gain weight. Overeating causes you to gain weight. Not eating wrecks your body. It lowers your immune system and it causes an unhealthy gastrointestinal imbalance. No one ever got fat from eating too much fruit and veggies. Eat all you want, but know your limitations. Everyone is different. I lift weights and I eat all I want. I don't eat fast food and I try to stay away from soda, chips, and candy. If I want some chocolate I eat chocolate.

I'll be completely honest I can eat a whole pie by myself, but I don't feel guilty. I am curvaceous. I am 5'4 123lbs. I workout everyday, but I know I will never lose my hips, thighs and butt. At one point I was 149lbs, no cellulite, I had a six pack and probably worked out 3 days a week. That's why I say everyone is different. It's part genetics and part environmental. If you eat junk food and don't exercise you will get fat.

Be the weight you want to be and eat the food you want to eat. Do no starve yourself. You have to eat to live. No one should tell you because your 5'4 you have to weigh120lbs or less. But, weighing 80lbs and being 5'4 is anorexic. If you can see your ribs through clothing, have no butt, no hips, and "toothpick" legs you should probably rethink your "diet."

One last thing, you need extra water to eliminate fat. I lost weight rapidly by drinking plenty of water instead of juice and soda. Your body is 70% water and gets dehydrated rapidly. Sometimes you're not starving you may be thirsty. You need to drink at least 8 cups of water everyday. Water doesn't make you fat. Never drink more than 2 or 3 cups at one time. Too much water at one time can make you feel sick. To make things easy for me I drink 1 cup for each hour I am awake and additional cups during and after exercising.

Also get in your daily fiber. If you're not eliminating the toxins out of your body it can make your metabolism sluggish. Check out www.bodybuilding.com I have learned alot about fitness and nutrition.

Yes, you should start using a diabetics diet. And instead of the stationary bike, try walking your neighborhood. You can eat well and still lose weight or keep your weight. Just stay away from fried food, high carbs, and large portions. You can eat all the greens you want, just watch out for what you eat with them.

take your diet and just add a little to it at a time, don't go
"hog wild" just up the calories/per day up 10% for about 1 month.eek it up just a scoch untill you see your weight staying the same or fluxuating 2-5 lbs.regardless of height
as long as your taller than 5'2" 125lbs is right on the crosshairs.
congratulations on your sucess and God bkess you!!

The key is to get enough cardio exercise to work off what you ate.

Judging from the amount of cardio exercise you're doing, once you start eating right, you should NOT gain weight.

Your body will be pleased its feeding itself again but I hope you have learned your lesson... Starving yourself then eating normally confused your body. It will hold onto fat because its afraid itll starve again. You wont gain to much by eating healthy though.
