Because, I believe, he feels he has to hold the nations hand as HE thinks he deals with all the issues and problems hes screwed up when hes been in office. Thank god hes out in '08, I can't survive another term of him.

He only says what they tell him to say. "Stay the course" was made famous by his father. They are running out of catchy phrases to distract everyone that we are loosing our @$$es in Iraq, but the oil is well protected and flowing!
