Saabs suck. They always sucked and now that they are GM they really suck. Plus if you are a guy people will always think you borrowed your moms car. If it is between the two I would go with the AUDI. You should think about a BMW though. BMW and Mercedes are the only two true luxury cars. AUDI is the same company as VW so they share a lot of the same cheap parts. Same thing as Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus, Nissan/Infinity. BMW and Mercedes are only BMW and Mercedes. They have no cheap parts bin to rob and save money. Mercedes are not as reliable though. I bought a 325i with only 40,000 miles on it a few months ago and I love it. Plus I got it for $15,000 so how can you beat that!

Audi A4 Quattro.

It's got the best engineering of the three. It has AWD and it's a real enthusiasts car.

FWD on a luxury or performance car is just stupid. Can you say torque steer? It's great to have 258 lb ft of torque but not rocketing through the front wheels while you try to steer through a corner. Completely undignified. Front wheel drive is for low torque 4 cylinder economy cars and grocery getters--- that eliminates the Saab. Not to mention it's now a GM product with a GM Ecotec engine under the hood. Might as well buy a Chevy Malibu and save $15,000.

Cadillac is RWD at least, but it's still an ugly piece of crap that looks like Picasso designed it while he was on a bad acid trip, like most of their ugly angular designs and the interior is not up to par with the Audi.

Germans know how to build cars. Detroit, not so much. They can build a farm truck with V10 or a mullet mobile muscle car, but their pseudo performance sedans leave something to be desired.

I don't care if the CTS-V Type R superturbo can circle some track in Germany in 3 seconds if it still looks like a paper airplane a kid made and has a plasticky interior like a Buick. Incomplete package. Detroits getting better though. Maybe in 10 more years they will be where Audi is now.

Go with the Audi.
