because the one i desire is perfect not perfect perfect but enough flaws and the right strengths to be the perfect one..no one else can compare
and some can be real jerks, no one else has all the qualities in the one im pursuing
i havent been looking but i glance around..and youd think id find someone else by now but its impossible
love is a many complicated thing and when youre in love no one else matters.
we all strive for perfection and we all want to make sure we're happy..theres only one soulmate for someone so if youre not with your soulmate and you are looking around go w/others you will not be fully happy
its even worse and this is emphasized when you have been hurt by another..you are afraid of it happening again and everyone else can seem evil or bad except for the one who appears perfect. so youd rather be alone if you cant have that one. trust me ive been there and i really believe only one can make me happy...theyre everything i want, everything i need. theyll solve all my problems and ill be happy forever. ok so maybe i wont be completely sad w/someone else..but ill do anything for them and is the only one im willing to change things about myself for (things i need to work on)
there really is only one "fish" for everyone. you may not see who it is and you may not find out for a long time..but thats where the other "fish" come in..you look through them and weed out the ones who are not for you. like check them off your internal list. and youll come to find who youve always wanted all along but just didnt know it

Because sometimes we refuse to see whats right in front of our eyes, because we hope it will all work out for the better, eventhough we know otherwise.. The sea is big and has lots of fish, the thing is i'm sometimes afraid to let go and swim out on my own :(

The other fish can't decide if they want to swim or sink. They go up the stream and down, making it difficult to catch them but once you do, the waves don't break.
