Gargle with salt water for your throat. For your messed up voice, not talking will help it. Whispering instead does not help.

Wash a fresh lemon & slice it into thin slices, add to a small pot or teapot full of boiled water. Steep 15 minute, stir before pouring, and add honey to the cup. It is very soothing, high in Vitamin C and bioflavonoids which promote healing.
Rest your voice, and remember that whispering actually stresses the vocal chords more than talking.
Eat as healthy as you can, and drink as much water as your sore throat can handle.
Staying warm allows your body to use it's full energies toward healing, since it doesn't have to use energy to try and stay warm.
Take good care, I hope you are feeling much better very soon.

Take a HIBISCUS flower, any color will do, but I prefer RED. Take ONE flower, and strip the petals off of it (the colored parts of the plant not the leaves) and place them in a cup (8 ounces) or HOT water- let them sit for 3 minutes then remove the flower from the cup- sweeten with a spoon of honey or sugar and AS YOURE using the spoon to mix the sweetener into the hot tea, as its swirling, squeeze a few drops of lemon into it JUST UNTIL the water turns BRIGHT PINK, it will go from DARK DARK purple water to BRIGHT PINK. This is when its ready- drink this nightly for a week. You'll notice improvements in the first day or two.

hot ginger tea, it helps relieve the itchy throat a lot and of coarse your voice. If you don't want the fresh one, you can buy a ginger powder in the store, it is in sachet and it is easy to prepare.

Don't drink cold water, it'll make you cough. Try warm liquids like hot chocolate.
