The 90-91 engine has an OBD 0 engine and your car is OBD1. Also that engine will have a cable clutch for the tranny and your car has a hydrolic clutch. You can make it work, but it will be about $1000 TO $2000 extra in parts, adapters, etc. Also where is that engine coming from? No CRX ever had a DOHC engine. That means no B series, ever. That engine must have come out of a Civic SiR from Japan.

it will work the obdo to obd1 is easy to change out all the senser plugs need to be changed to the obd1 civic just pull the pins and change the distributer draw a diagram to fallow the wire pattern on the plug color code to pull pins you can use the small screw driver set for small screws you will have to use the B16A 1st gen distributer for the swap the obd1 will not fit on the obdo head then just run the P28 Ecu the trans will have to be hydro not cable thats a pain ( A great place to get the best price motor & trans for gread shipping www.jdmsource.ca i would buy the 2 gen trans and get the 1st gen B16 get the wiring from diagrams from www.autozone .com for the obd1 B16 and for 1st gen B16 http://b16a.honda-perf.org/wiringb16.htm

With all the money you may have to spend on extra parts to make this work it may be more cost wise to get a crate engine from honda that will work for your car or look at swapping it with
an acura engine for a little more pep.
