pushing an 8 or 9 here. 1st because my cash flow is smaller this year...and my family won't hear of drawing names or spending limits like a lot of my other friends do. 2nd, because I've been bickering with my mom over "taking turns" spending which day (24th or 25th) with her or with my in-laws. my spouse can only spend Christmas Eve with family, and my mom insists I have to spend Christmas Eve with her....separated from my spouse. and she doesn't think that's unfair? we only want to spend time with each family together? uggh! I've had a headache all week! I always look forward to the holidays, but this year, I just want it to be over!

I am doing okay -- maybe a 4 or 5 -- and I leave to go out of town with a preschooler and a toddler tomorrow. I think I learned my lesson last year when a 10 beyond normal gave me an anxiety attack (on top of the flu) -- hubby was so sick with the flu he landed in the hospital, and thank God Santa shopped early for the kids, or I would have had nothing. I usually bake 4-5 kinds of cookies, and ate cookies my friends brought me. I even had friends who offered to finish my shopping for me. We were sick, sick, sick. And, I learned that nothing matters more than the smiles of my kids Christmas morning. Nothing. All the other stuff is fine. If I have to give people $ for gifts, or no gifts, it is fine. If I don't bake my great grandmother's famous recipe cookies, it is fine. As long as we are together and happy and HEALTHY, that is all that matters.

I hope everyone enjoys their family and their Christmas.

I'm pushing an 8- but once I got the packages shipped today, that dropped to 7.

I'm usually at a 3 or 4.

This year is a travel year, a dying relative year, and a ship everything and them some for everyone year. Been a bit hard, to say the least.

Last year I was getting ready to leave home to Orlando, FL for a 7 month internship, and I was leaving right after the holidays. So I was trying to spend all of my time with friends and family, and get packed. And just the idea that I would be leaving after Christmas was very sad. - 10+

This year I am home from my wonderful internship, settled into my new job, and I have saved enough to spend for the holidays. I am happy - 2

Merry Christmas to you!!!

well compared to last year, it is up considerably. BUT this year we have taken on my in-laws who are both disabled plus a 6 year old and an 11 month old all in one house, besides moving 2 months before Christmas and much much more, so I'd say with all of that and baking and being in charge of Christmas dinner and all I'm at a 9.5 and rising

Well 1 to 10 (10 being high) I'd say about a 9.5
The company I work for just layed off 87 people last week - me included. I knew it was coming (great timing) but it still throws things into a whirlwind.

Maybe about a 6. I finally finished all my shopping today but I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow. I'm in retail and lately I've been dealing with a lot of hysterical, demanding people.
