Who knows their policy. They don't tell you specifically the reason why something was pulled. They just give you a list of different reasons why that can pull them. Makes no sense most of the time.

It depends if it is reported as offensive, it is then pulled, meaning it was offensive to that person. I apologize, when they tell me that I have offended someone. Truly I have seen many worse ones, they may have not been reported , so they stay, even if the language is very bad, and obscene. I think Yahoo does the best they can with the circumstances . Keep reading the guidelines, they are broken constantly you will notice when you become more aware of them .

The system is terrible. There's no such thing as a "homophobe," anyway and a post calling someone that is an insult in violation of the rule of insuling other members and should be removed if other certain types are going to be.

I do not find the two questions you listed offensive or bothersome.
However, I have seen other questions on here that make my toes curl, and not in a good way. One example that I found very frightening was a 16-year old girl asking if she should have her third abortion. Wow.
So, I don't know why Yahoo! Answers would remove your questions.

All it takes is "ONE" person to be offended and they will "PULL" your question. A million can agree with you but if one person doesn't like what you ask the question will be removed. This is wrong. The syestem here is terrible. You know it and I know it.

I posted what I though was a really funny reply to a silly question and they pulled it. I think if anyone objects to it and notifies yahoo, they pull it immediately. They then appear to review it, and if it is even slightly off-center, they kill it. I don't know for sure, but that's how it appears to work.

It's because someone got really offened and had to report you.
I've had the same damn thing happen to me many many times, and it's getting on my nerves. I can't ask a simple question with out some homosexual getting pissed cause I don't agree with their way of life.
It's amazing they haven't removed this question.
You get a thumbs up by the way.

Because, there are alot of children here, even though they are over the age of eighteen. (Thankfully, I am not one of them.)
If they don't agree with something that you have said, sometimes they will stalk you at yahoo answers, and report your questions for abuse, even though they are not against TOS.
I have found this happening to me as well. It is quite odd how most liberals here don't seem to want free speech at yahoo answers.
Be well.

because they run this place like evil communist dictators, a lot like our schoolin system, the ansewrs to your other questions are
because they feel safe around them and prehaps because if they managed to sleep with one they would subcontiously feel proud of them selves? and thats a stupid question cause both extrimists are quit anoying, you have to get somewhere in the middle but slightly leaning towards left wing ( the ones that aren't nazi i think)
