I think it depends on how you word it.If you r demanding it and not asking then honestly I wouldn't do whatever it is.It doesn't matter to me if it 's a friend family member or a stranger.I believe that is respect and good manners and I show the same either way.Therefore If u asked then they should let u know they couldn't do what ever it is but if u are just telling them what to do then wouldn't you think of saying no cuz the person isn't asking?anyway bye 4 now and have a great x- mas and Happy Holidays.

If it was within the means of the person to do it and the person had the time and energy to effect it perhaps it was inconsiderate, not rude.

Well not really, it's really up to the person if they want to do something for you. You're not part of any monarch family, do I don't think that ppl should gravel at your feet. I have some friends like and it really erks me that they think this way.

I don't know if it is rude but it sure isn't very considerate and I think your friend should have listened to you.

That all depends on what "it" is. People--even friends--aren't required to do what you want them to do. Now, if you're talking about a request to stop a behavior that has hurt you, then yes it's inconsiderate of them to ignore your feelings.

You as a friend shouldn't have to expect that of any friend. Be the type of friend that you would like to have. You can't go wrong.
