Ok, well that is just not acceptable.

You were put on this earth for a purpose. You may not know what it is right now, but you have one. Not everyone is happy about something about themselves. I think skin color is no different. You need to find your confidence and realize your self worth is not about your skin color, your weight, your hair, a scar, or whatever the case may be.

I have no idea if you are white, brown, black, red, or yellow. Doesn't matter. You have something to give to this world.

....accept yourself and move on. Good luck to you!!

I feel this is the worst kind of bigotry there is.
A oriental women offered to buy one of my babies, she wanted a blond blue eyed kid. I was shocked and this is the first time I truly ever came across this.
I have no idea what kind of feelings you are feeling for I had never had this problem. I do have sympathy.
You may want to see a professional, though some of these so called professionals are dealing with issues themselves.

By not liking yourself because of something like skin color means you do not like your mother, father, siblings, your heritage. This to me is sad.
Know one can tell you what to do, this is something you will have to learn on your own. I would think if you read about heritage, about others with the same skin tone as you, go back into family history. Maybe you can find a reason to be proud of your skin color. I have not found one who's skin color is ugly, or not appealing to the eye.
Do not be another Michael Jackson, he too did not like his skin color and now look at him. He is a mess...
Good luck and hope you find what you are looking for...

Begin by reading Genesis 1:26 and 27: "In the beginning, God made man in His image, in the image of God He created him, male and female created He them." Then, find a good friend you look up to, who is not your skin color. Hold his or her hand, and consider that your being and your friend's are one flesh- that you are both made in the image of God- that you both have human DNA (clearly, you do!). Move your other hand along your flesh slowly, till you touch your friend's skin, as you concentrate on these facts. It will make you visualize just how you are fearfully and wonderfully made (cf. Psalms 139: 14). I have personally taken the hand of people who felt themselves to be inherently "inferior" for a variety of reasons, or thought that I or other people felt that way about them, and their attitudes changed from the experience. The first time I tried it, it felt powerful for me, too.

In addition, for a Biblical opinion about this, see Galatians 3:28, which says in part that (to value a person) there is neither Jew nor Greek; There is neither slave nor free..."

I love my skin color, and I will not change it to something different. Whatever imperfection I've got, I won't change it for this is who I am, and I want people to like me not because I'm beautiful or dislike me because I'm ugly. Every individual has their own unique characteristic. All you have to do is learn to love yourself, so people could see the beautiful you. HAPPY HOLIDAY TO YOU. NAMASTE.

Sounds like you are depressed.
I deal with depression every day.
I fight it by doing stretching every day.
By doing aerobics every day.
By doing weightlifting every other day.
The hard part? Motivating myself to do these exercises. As depressed people prefer to do nothing!
Once I do it, I feel great about myself for the entire day.

Get over it, and learn to accept who you are.
