That depends on the man and the woman. My parents were engaged and married 6 months after they started dating, and are still together...almost 30 years. My man and I have been together just over 2 years, and we know we want to get married, he's even bought the ring...but hasn't officially asked me yet. There is no time limit on things like this. When the time is right...100% right...you will know it.

personally i would think if he's wanting too and has told you this i would just ask him to help make a date for the wedding.and really it's hard to tell when it's ok to marry but i truely wouldn't till i've been with him for at the least time of a month but if you have this true fillings and he does too well then spend alot of time with each other to really know how each of you are and your habits so it wont be a shock when you two do marry .good luck

One evening my guy (now my husband) told me that he was going to do things right and make sure his proposal would be in a nice romantic restaurant and a special time for me to remember. I am still waiting for the nice romantic restaurant, but we did get married. He wanted to marry me - he left no doubt about it - but the romantic proposal never came.

If you are sure she is the one then marry her, but if there is any....I mean any doubt......Don't do it.......I got married a year and a half ago and I have been regretting not listening to my inner self telling me something was wrong....now I am having to deal with it.

Honestly, Your never gonna fully "know" the person, accept the uncertainty and go for it. Marriage is pretty awesome..not easy but it is deff. rewarding =)
