Its pretty much obsolete now, being the wii can play all gamecube games. One could say the gamecube lost last generations console wars.

I personally would nto go ahead and buy the gamecube because Nintendo is moving on and no longer producing gasecubes. This is because they are making a new sytem (nintendo wii). Also there will no longer be new games coming out for the Gasmecube. A much better choice is the wii(assuming u can find one as of now) because the graphics is much better and because of the new innovation on the wii such as the motion sensored controller.

I have one. First off... they are uber-cool. ^-^ They have really good graphics, the contollers are halfway easy to understand..
However, This is my 2nd one. The first one quit working about a year after buying, but the second one is working great, and I've had it for over 2 years now. Hope I helped.

not a whole lot, actually. the game selection is sparse... the hardware is subpar as compared to the PS2 and Xbox... you're better off with the 8-bit NES actually.
