I have a '94 Dodge Pick Up, 4x4, 3" lift on 33's with a 5.2 Liter V8. I take very good care of it and it runs great. I am wanting to put a new exhaust system on it and I want to know which system would be the loudest with my engine and model. I am a huge fan of LOUD, I want to be able to be heard 10 miles away(not literally). From the cat-converter to the type of muffler and the pipes...what should I do to achieve the loudest sound from my engine? THANKS!

if you really want it loud and also stay clean go strait pipe just with the cats and pipes all the way to the back I'm sure you will like the sound of it and its loud

you might want to check with a local muffler shop to see what they can do because some places cant cut mufflers off and not put them back butt if you cut them off then take it to them they should have no problem welding in a small pipe in to fill the gap also it will save money too insted of buying flow masters or back cat systems to be installed cause then your looking at an easy $6-700 dual exhaust would be a good idea also

but if you got the money get headers and the back cat system everyones got flow masters and it sounds good

Contact "summit racing" www.summitracing.com about a "flowmaster" exhaust system for your truck with either "delta flow" or "super 40"series mufflers. They will give you the sound you want along with a few extra horsepower. Do not tamper with the exhaust cat forward unless you want problems passing a state inspection emissions tailpipe sniffer test.Though you can run headers that will fit to your cats inlet.Talk to the salesperson at "summit racing" about them as well.I have a 1997 Dakota that I put a 5.7 liter "hemi" engine out of a wrecked ram truck with all the emission controls and computer controls operating with headers into the cat and a "flowmaster" catback 3 inch exhaust system with a "flowmaster" "super 40" series muffler and it has a healthy rumble at idle and around town that goes to a screaming roar sound when I get on it.

Unbolt the pipe at the exhaust header at the engine, take all the exhaust syatem pipes out and you will be heard for miles.

Flowmaster single chamber cat-back performance duals.
Not only will this system give you the loud "good quality" sound, but it will also improve your performance a slight but noticable ammount.
You should be able to find a local exhaust shop to install it for about 250.00 - 350.00 parts and labor.

in case you want the loudest, basically bypass immediately pipe all the in the previous, decrease the cat out and basically run pipe, no exhaust, yet once you're gonna positioned a muffler on, positioned on the ten sequence from flowmaster, unmarried chamber muffler.

Diesel exhaust and make sure you have Excedrin for the loud mouth on your truck.
