well... Bush said we're fighting the War on terror in iraq and it's our main front...
and we started the war on terror because of 9-11
so, I can see how they would get confused.. there has been a lot of double talk about Iraq and 9-11... never actually blaming them for it, but mentioning them in the same sentence on numerous occasions...
Bush wants to put the two, Iraq and 9-11, side by side constantly, but never directly related, and then act all innocent when people think Iraq is responsible...
it's like if I wage a war on cancer, because it killed my brother... then I attack a candy cane factory... but I never say candy canes are the cause of cancer... why did I attack then?
Bush wants to lead Republicans to the water in hopes they will drink (connect the dots) on their own...

Because Republicans are sad that they lost the House and Senate and have nothing better to say becuase they wnat to lok good in front of American people since we ARE losing in Iraq and we ARE under the leadershop of a complete idiot. That's why teh desperate Republicans keep refering back to 9/11 even though Iraw had NOTHING to do with America other than George Bush's wallet.

They are society "illerate" as they are ditto heads who listen to their party tell them all these ridiculous lies and they are too lazy to do research, read or investigate something so very important. Then, they go out and make complete fools of themselves as they know nothing of the facts of the situation. Then, there are those that are so arrogant they will not admit they are wrong for any reason. It's delusion, I guess. When it finally lands in their lap and hits home, they might get it.

because they believe things lie our government sponsored fox news and they took the bait the bush handled out they refuse to read to inquire to thin for themselves they believe anything that that are told the most often and with the most untruth in it it is the big lie theory. Tell a big enough lie long enough and it will get you a huge audience who have problems thinking for themselves-and never research anything

You are completely right! That totally absurd misconception still lives loud and proud amongst a sizeable portion of the American right.
The key players in this blatant public duping probably still can't believe how successful it was!
"You can fool some of the people for a long, long time......."

Just saying, libs were the first to try to link 911 and Iraq. They tried to say that the sanctions on iraq were the motive behind the attacks. hmmm. the motive behind the attack.

Because people are ignorant and only listen to the media. Not to mention they're blaming it on ALL arabs..not the extremist. Extremist in any religion is a bad thing and should be demolished...especially baptist...my whole family is baptist and apparently all of them are stuck up pricks that think everyone is going to hell but their own....makes me sick.....get rid of extremism and you solve everyone's problems. HOOAH!

I have no clue. I would answer that it's because they are just stupid, but that would be rude. What really amazes me are the people that try to pin this on the President. He never ever stated this and neither did Congress who not only voted and passed it once, but twice.
