1. Edge. This midcarder came into the spotlight by winning the WWE Championship twice and becoming a 12 time Tag Champ with the future of the business. His new persona is phenominal and it is working. He is the most hated wrestler in the business now.
2. Cena. I don't like him but his popularity didn't stop and he put up with a lot of harsh fans at one night stand and in Montreal. Many thought he would turn heel but he stuck it out.
3. King Booker. He won the King of the Ring, FINALLY won the World Heaveyweight Championship, and beat up on SD's most popular superstar. All by simply changing his gimick. Weather it is a silly gimick or not, it's getting him heat... which means it's working.
4. Samoa Joe. He was undefeated for 10 of the 12 months and beat the NWA Champion and is now in the fued of the year.
5. Kurt Angle. Did a lot of jumping but it worked each time. SD became the champion and main evented Wrestlemania, new face of ECW, and was the story of the year when he went to TNA.

1. John Cena - as long as he is the champ he's number 1
2. Edge - even though I think he doesn't have talent he stepped up and became a main eventer
3. RVD - would be a multi time champ if he hadn't been busted for drugs but now Vince won't put the belt around him(was supposed to be the next Edge and John Cena because he won the Money in Bank)
4. King Booker - like Edge and RVD stepped up and became a main eventer and won the World title
5. Samoa Joe - went undefeated for ever in TNA
