Any films coming out based on recent Michael Crichton novels?

More recent than that is Timeline (2003) which was a fun and interesting book and a terrible movie. Also, The Thirteenth Warrior (1999) was based upon his novel Eaters of the Dead.

I don't think there are any Crichton-based films coming out in the near future. But, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that a film based on his new one, NEXT, is in the works. It seems like it would lend itself to the silver screen fairly well.

Define recent? To the best of my knowledge, he has not had a movie adapted from one of his books since "Sphere" starring Dustin Hoffman.
