I have been told that Creed is a christian rock band is that true ?

Well the word creed means a statement or confession of belief — usually religious belief — or faith.
Some listeners consider Creed's music to be Christian rock. However, the band's frontman has stated:
"We cannot say this enough, we are not a 'Christian band.' We have no agenda to lead others to believe in our specific beliefs."

As I understand it, no they're not, although some of their lyrics may or may not have pointed towards Christianity. The band is now broke up, but the former lead singer was raised in an Assembly of God Church....and maybe this is where all that is starting from. By the news I've been hearing about him, maybe it's time he goes back to church. Best of luck to you.

They are not a Christian band people think they are because of the way they sound. As stated by Scott Stapp,
"We cannot say this enough, we are not a 'Christian band.' We have no agenda to lead others to believe in our specific beliefs"

Yeah the band sucks to much to be rock or anything in that same category.And they made the song with arms wide open and alot of other shitty songs
