It depends on your internet speed, and connection, and the size of the file you are downloading, but it can sometimes take anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 days.

If you mean "how long will it take to download a song at 56K?"
Then it will take anywhere from 6min to well over 15min depending on the the speed you connected at when you signed on the the internet.

An average song would take roughly 30 minutes to download.
