Roy's - in Hawaii Kai.
6600 Kalanianaole Hwy.
Honolulu, HI 96825
(808) 396-7697

They serve hawaiian/asian - fusion cuisine. I love the butterfish, short ribs, and the chocolate souffle. I ate at Roy's (the San Francisco location) last week, and have plans to eat there again for Christmas Eve. The staff is friendly, too.

So many, check out the places that are on or near the ocean. I ate at a place that was right on the water which in most cases all of them are, but you'll never forget the feeling of the cool ocean breeze after a few sips of vino! And if you get a chance, go to the North Shore and check out the Glider rides, Awsome!!!!!

aloha....we have lots of great places, almost any of the hotels in Waikiki and Honolulu have good ones....Roy's and Orchids is wonderful but really EXPENSIVE!! If you want good food and be able to be right on the beach try Duke's or Hula Grill, both are pretty reasonable and have a good variety...Dukes is a great place for cocktails. Or you can drive up to No. Shore and go to Haleiwa Joes or one of my favs Lei Lei's or Ola's in turtle Bay. Hope you something yummy! Aloha.

I simply adore Assagio's (obviously Italian food), which has 4 locations in Oahu, one of them being in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. If you like Thai, check out Keo's. Zippy's has awesome chili with rice or chili burritos. It all depends on what you are looking for:)

Not 'nice' but the ramen places in Waikiki are great, also try to get a plate lunch at the Rainbow Drive In, a half mile inland from the Zoo.

There is a fantastic restaurant in the Hilton Hawaiin village hotel complex. I can't remember the name, but is on the water and upscale. The view and the food are great. I went by myself and was made to feel very welcome and just as important as the couples or larger parties.
