how can i hack into my ipod?

my friend hacked into my ipod by pressing something... he wouldn't tell me how to do it and i really want to change my settings too. if you know please tell me!!!!

to change the settings, you click the settings button on the main screen. to change it on the computer, click the cartoon ipod on the bottom of the screen while its plugged in.
