You should find a cord that looks like this:
http://www.123macmini.com/news/images/usb.jpg
The wide end goes into the back of your computer, the thin end goes into your iPod.
Then, you will have to find the USB slot.
It can either be on the front of your computer or the back, depending on how new your computer is.
On the back, it would look like this:

On the front, it would look sort of like this:
http://www.uhh.hawaii.edu/uhh/otdl/acs/faq/images/pendrivecloseup.JPG
Except it wouldn't have that thing on it.
If there is more than one, it doesn't matter which one you put it in. If the cord fits, it'll work, as long as you have the software installed. :)
