Hancok fabric stores have sewing classes there is one in Hazel Dell in the J&M plaza shopping center by 78th street exit
It has been quite awhile since I have been in there though

Fabric Depot on 122 ave. between Burnside and Stark (I think) Look it up. It's a great place.
