I took one of these test today in the middle of the day. My period isnt due till another 7 days. I took the test the results were not pregnant, but I took the test apart just to see how it worked and there was a really dark line and a faint line, could it just be I tested way to early? Also I was on clomid 2nd round this month.

I have never tried the ClearBlue Easy Digital, but all the home pregnancy test can test at different times. You need to go and read the boxes and find the one that measures the lowest hCG levels. Try these tests...

hCG One Step Ultra
First Response
Early Pregnancy Tests

Try the First Response first. It measure the lowest level of hCG. I think that is the one I would buy when I was testing. Good luck and I hope the best for you.

You can take firtst response or clear blue to get a result 3-5 days before your missed period, but be fore warned that the earlier you take it before your period is supposed to come the least accurate it is. Say you do it 3 days before you period is supposed to come. You have a 55% chance of getting a "pregnant" reading then if you were to take the test the day before your period onset, therefore your percantage would have a 92% chance of reading "pregnant". My best advice would be to wait it out to the day of your period, I know its stressful, but you will get a better reading then and loose less money from the amount of tests you buy. Or you could get a Clear Blue and get the bonus test take one at any given time, if it comes out negative, there is always a second test you could save till the day of your period, same amount for one test, but with two!

Ive used clearblue easy 2 times and it was accurate both times. Well if you are putting off going to the Dr get a test or 2 from the store... not cheapie brands... like a first response and something else... then take them... but Id say your + result is the one you are going to get with the better tests so I would call my Dr and see what he or she says. Good Luck

i took the clearblue digital test a week before my period was due and it was positive!! i had taken one a few days before that also the same kind and it was neg. but it also had a line and then a very faint line so i would test again in a few days.

I took the same test way before my period and it showed up. when i went to the doctors office their test said no. so this shows you the clear blue test are better cause im not 20 weeks and i was only 2 weeks when they found out.

no its too early.... 7 days before a missed period is to early for any test... if you want to test early you could try taking a first response test 2 days before your missed period i believe its 93% accurate at that point but any other test you cant test until you have actually missed a period.. good luck!

They (the manufacturer) say not to try and interpret the actual test strip in the digital test, as it's different than regular tests (ie, two lines does not mean positive).
