I'm 16 and i started playing the guitar about a year ago. Right now, i'm playing both acoustic and electric. I played a song in my class once and the girls seemed to like it a lot.
Im just wonderin what u think. also, do u prefer acoustic?

Sure playing any instrument is a plus. It shows your artsy side... I love acoustic guitars. theyre the most beautiful sounding things on earth. A man who can play a song for a girl will melt her. Electric is good too. Jimmy Page is my sex god, youve got a good thing going.

Some do, some don't it all depends on what the girl likes. I play guitar some, but I'm not that great and I never mention it to any of the girls I've ever dated and I have no problem getting a date. Don't do it just because you want a date. If you're going to play guitar, play it because you want to. Play it so you can hear the music flow from your fingers as they pick the strings from the rythms in your head. Not because you want to impress some girl. Hooah!

Acoustic I prefer. And about girls liking some one for been a guitar payer? Well not necessarily. Girls sometimes don’t even know what they want. If they see a frog playing the guitar, they go crazy for it, and so on just like that. Hope you get my point.

Very good question and one I was thinking about myself recently. I'm personally aroused when I see a hot girl playing guitar. That makes her even hotter in my eyes (e.g. Orianthi). But some other lads feel threatened at the thought of a woman being better than them on something that's stereotypically a 'male' territory (they'd probably feel the same way if a girl played football better than they did, or if she were taller, stronger or a better driver). So, IMO, it says more about the bloke in question than it does about the female guitarist.

yes and no. Guitar is nice, but it kinda depends if you are the guy next door, or the guy from h*ll. I prefer electric, because if you have a nice amp, you can make it acoustic. Really depends on the girl.

My boyfriend can play the bass, electric, and acoustic guitars. It is so freaking HOTT! He plays for me all the time.

Yes... guitars are SEXY. I like acoustic to be all romantic with the bf and electric just in general.... but that's just me... I love guitars.

I have a good friend who plays guitar. I don't like him any more or less for it. Well, maybe a little more because I am and respect musicians. He is really good though.

Hell Ya! I prefer eletric I like the look better and the sound. I like rocker guys, because I love rock music. And if a guy can play me my favorite rock song, he's mine!

More then likely she liked you for your personality, or b/c she thought you were cute. The guitar just added some thing extra, I guess.
