I've been reading some of your responses to questions from gay people and I just can't get over how hateful you are. Anyway, my question to you is: Do you believe in God? and if so, do you care what you are doing to him? Some of you say that being gay is an abomination of God. Well, how you can you think that your bigotry and hate towards gay people isn't? Do you honestly think that you will be rewarded for that kind of behavior in heaven? If so, you might want to consider some help.

I am not a bigot, but I felt compelled to answer. I have 2 very special friends that are gay, they h/b together for about 16 yrs now. I cannot tell you how much my life has changed for the better since I have come to know them. They are both very active in their church, and I have started going with them when I can. They have so much love in their hearts, and it really saddens me that both their families have dis-owned them because they are gay. We have sort of 'adopted' each other as family. I consider them as my brothers, and they respect & protect me just as if I were their own sister. I spent Thanksgiving with them, and will be spending Christmas day with them rather than my own family. I don't hate anyone for being who they are, and I don't think God does either. Do straight people live a sinless life? I doubt it. But God loves us all anyway.

Christians aren't the ones who decided that homosexuality is an abomination to God, He did. He says so in His word, the Bible. I am a Christian that takes the Bible literally. When God says that it's an abomination for a man to lay with a man as with a women then I believe it's an abomination. I don't have any hate in my heart for gueers but I am fully against their lifestyle and having them work so hard at making me accept the way they choose to live. I don't have to accept their lifestyle and that's the glory of living in America as a Christian. As for a reward in heaven, my father God loves me just as much as he loves queers and just being with Him is reward enough. Queers just need to realize that prejudice reigns whether you are black, white, Asian, handicapped, or have anything that doesn't seem "acceptable" to someone else. If you want to live against the laws of nature and God then it is just as much your right to do so as it is my right not to do so. I'm not a bigot, I'm just a free American who loves God/Jesus.

I don't hate gay people but I don't like their lifestyle. I judge them because I have a right as an American to practice freedom of speech. And what are you complaining about anyway with all the tolerance America has presently?

You know what I love? The fact that these bible beater have nothing better to do than to bash ANYONE who isn't like them. The bible is a book, written by people, men at that. Men who got drunk every day, swore and engaged in homosexual behavior. Also, it says directly in the bible that when the women were not old enough for marriage yet, the assigned husbands waiting in the fields, finding pleasure in the SHEEP! So you're going to tell me that you INTERPRET homosexuality being sinful in the bible, when the bible CLEARLY STATES word for word that man sought after beast for pleasure! So everyone, according to these bible beaters, RIDE A SHEEP AND GO TO HEAVEN! What a crock.

Very well put....I think people are hateful due to ignorance. Just as you wouldn';t hate someone that is mentally challenged, don't hate ignoramouses. They are "special" in thier own way.
