does ampd mobile take Sim cards?

I don't think so since it's owned by Verizon I think and verizon doesn't use sim card. But i'm not 100% sure about that. What I do know is that you can find the best deals on ampd mobile phones from this site: http://www.selectivemobile.com/ampd_mobile_phones.asp?aid=yh

Im not sure sweetie but most companies do.....I have a Nextel personally so I dont know but if i did i'd tell u so sorry
