In other words, when did you think the show lost its original charm and started to decline?

I think "Friends" started to get tired after Rachel had Ross' baby.

Yeah right around when Rachel and Joey were dating is when "Friends" jumped the shark. But if I had to name a specific episode, it'd be the one with Brad Pitt in it. Very funny episode, but proved the writers were running on empty.

I agree when the whole Rachel Ross thing happened and the baby...they didn't have anywhere to go. I also thought they made Chandler and Monica get married way to early for as long as they kept the show going but season 8 and there on gave a downward slide
