I just read that there was another theory that he might have been a Witchmaster (Hexenmeister) or imp.

and Occultism might have to do with him, because he had no fingerprints, neither had he left his footprints.

I have never seen anything to suggest that Jack the Ripper was anything other than human. I can't say that I'd be inclined to place much faith in any sort of supernatural solution anyway. One fellow has claimed that the Ripper Murders can be traced onto a map of London to create a five pointed star, provided that you juggle them around by a couple blocks here and there. In other words, plain rubbish.

Only one of the five murders took place in Scotland Yard territory anyway. All the others were within the jurisdiction of the London Metro Police. Forensic science was in its infancy during this time and the odds were all with the Ripper.

I've always felt that Montague J. Druitt was the most likely of the Ripper suspects to be the actual killer. The case against Druitt is largely circumstantial, as it is with all the suspects, but it's hard to get away from the fact that when Druitt died the murders stopped. He was most probably a suicide but if the Ripper ceased his murders it was for a reason. He either moved, was incarcerated for another reason or died. Since the other major suspects, including Patricia Cornwell's favorite Walter Sickert, were at large for years after the killings stopped I think that Druitt's death coinciding with the end of the murders puts him at the head of the list.

Nothing supernatural about it after all. A nutter with offices bordering on Whitechapel and who had a years medical school training before becoming a barrister and a history of insanity in his family stretching back generations.

Remember that the least complicated solution to a problem is the one most likely to be correct.

There is a copy cat killer at the moment killing innocent prostitutes and the compare, in the papers, happens to be the Ripper, could be another of the royal family mishaps what with that cheeky younger brother on the prowl and some how he, Jack the Ripper, was not caught back in the 1500s or what ever.
There was a show on Discovery that reopened the case for debate on all the evidence that was collected by scotland yard at the time but it was like a interactive murder mystery clueso that in the end did not point any fingers and had actors portay the interviews with a tribunal for analysis.

Jack The Ripper was human! But who he was? There are many theories as to he was, some say he was the private surgeon to Queen Victoria, some say he was one of the Queens sons, there are supposedly signs left at the murder scenes that point to Jack being a high ranking mamber of the Masons.
As Jack was never caught, he probably died of illness as was the case in Victorian England. it has led to much wild speculation and conspiracy theories. The truth of the matter is no one will ever know unless a confession is foundm and that is not very likely

He was never arrested, although there are theories abound as to his identity. I have heard that he may have been a doctor, or at least a well-off, educated man, because his mutilations showed a sophisticated knowledge of anatomy.

Remember that his victims were mostly prostitutes, and law enforcement officers seldom put enough resources into investigating murders of those women. In Canada it took fifty women to disappear before police finally arrested a suspect; if they were white, middle class women, the case would no doubt have been solved much earlier.

He was a mere human being who as long since left this mortal coil, but as left behind a legacy he does not deserve.
He narrowly escaped detection in the streets of White-chapel murdering five women with no rhyme or reason nor did he exhibit
any signs of intelligent behaviour in the execution of his crimes.
A disturbed Mind? Yes, but little else. The Public and Media's imagination as placed him on a Mystical Pedestal because he as no name, nor will he ever. In a sense he is the original Bogeyman.

according to scotland yard there were a few suspects that apparently bore some interest. Some of them were close enough to the Royal Family that they remained sealed until sometime late in the 20th century. As far as who the ripper really was that fact my friend as we know is lost to history. As far as him being a messenger from Hell I think he would have killed someone a liitle more wholesome than prostitutes.

The movie "From Hell" has a lot to do with what your saying. It's a pretty good movie and sounds like something that might interest you. I however do not believe this theory, rather I think that it was indeed the Doctor theory.

Apparently, there is eveidence to suggest that Jack the Ripper made it to America as well, and if the British police couldn't catch him, I seriously doubt that the American police forces could catch him

It's possible he was arrested, but if so it wasn't for being Jack the Ripper.

No-one was arrested or tried for the crimes.
