He is such a scoundrel and a murderer and got away with it because of a lazy a$$ jury.
This guy continues to rub in the face of the families that he killed their loved one, makes money off something so despicable, treats his kids horribly, uses them as his excuse for philandering money, and does absolutely nothing but make a mochary of the justice system (not that it needs any help anyways).
Why is this guy allowed to walk the streets???

Because most people would rather accept that the justice system has already tried and ruled on this case.
One way to approach his acquittal is to consider some of what the jury saw. They heard the Fuhrman tapes where he made highly derogatory statements about blacks then lied underoath. The lead investigator in charge of the whole case freely admitted in court that he took a vial sample of OJ's blood from the lab and carried it back into the crime scene, which is against police policy. The jury saw a video taken by paparazzi of OJ, Nicole, Denise and their parents talking in a nice peaceful manner right after attending OJ/Nicole's daughter's dance recital - and Denise even kissed and hugged OJ (all this was a few short hours before the crime). The jury was taken to OJ's house and did not see a rumored large blood trail. No murder weapon was ever found and there weren't any witnesses. The "found" glove didn't fit - wrong size (heat shrinks, moisture doesn't). OJ's slow speed drive at 30 mph to his own house is not indicative of guilt. Some may disagree with the jury verdict but it's unfair to state with absolute certainty that this person is guilty. Simpson has always maintained his innocence. Concerning the book, likely the "If i did it" title and chapter was decided by the publisher and network for the sensational value which they thought would translate into higher book sales and higher TV ratings for the interview.

Because we're a nation of laws, law abiding people, who respect the decision of the jury. We don't take the law into our own hands. We're not vigilantes.
Also, because OJ was innocent. The jury heard the evidence, better than anyone, they were mostly women, they voted Not Guilty.
Plus, Mark Fuhrman took the Fifth on whether he manufactured evidence. When your primary police detective manufactures evidence, sprinkles blood to make it look like OJ did it, you can't trust the police. OJ was framed. Fortunately, a jury saw that.
But the "victim" Goldman was a gold digger. he wanted a civil verdict so he could make millions, and hit the jackpot. The jury in the civil case was white, and had already formed their opinions of the case. They lied to get on the jury, so they could give the gold digger a claim on millions.
OJ risked his life going to trial. It was a certain death penalty if he lost. When the evidence looked overwhelming, before Mark Furhman took the Fifth, OJ was refusing to consider a plea bargain that would have saved his life, and avoided any risk of a death penalty. The only reason he did that was he was 100% innocent.
White people have a problem with believing white police frame black defendants. Instead of lynchings from trees, we now have judicial lynchings of black defendants. OJ was almost lynched by the courts.
Innocent people are allowed to walk the streets. OJ was innocent. They do DNA tests on black males sitting on death row, and discover many are innocent. Then think back to their original trial, where the white police testified those blacks were guilty. That's how white police departments work.
