Area for a rectangle would be Length X Width
If you are talking about a rectangular prism, the formula for volume would be Length X Width X Height

2d rectangles don't have volume, just area which is length x width. if your are doing a rectangular cube then it's length x width x height. (the order really doesn't matter)
